At Emerge we love working with the amazing band 'Sound Express'. Since 2015, this amazing band perform across North Wales and beyond. This week the band performed at 'Mold and Buckley Contact Club' in Mold Methodist Church, Flintshire.
The place was rocking as the band sung and played popular rock covers and their own material. Songs such as 'Smells like teen spirit' by Nirvana, 'With or Without you' by U2, 'Love will tear us apart' by The Cure and original songs like 'Connah's Quay Tigers' and 'Get up get down' by Sound Express. Singer and keyboard player Ryan delivered his best yet version of 'Lockdown' written in the 2020 pandemic by Sound Express. His lyrics exploring all the downsides to the pandemic, not seeing our friends, not being able to go out shopping or to work. The powerful lyrics also focus on meeting up on-line during the pandemic which luckily we were all able to do, ensuring we all stayed in touch in 2020/2021.
